Dear Martin Elementary Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an incredible honor to serve as the new Principal of W.A. Martin Elementary. I am excited to return to a campus setting and begin this journey alongside our students, staff, families, and community.
Martin Elementary is a special place, and I am committed to building upon its strengths while creating a school where every child feels safe, supported, known, valued, and challenged. Our theme this year is “Growing Together at Martin Elementary,” and it reflects the partnership we want to build with each of you.
Our priorities are simple and clear:

- Provide high-quality teaching and learning every day.
- Create a positive school culture where students and staff love to be.
Strong schools are built through strong partnerships. We value your involvement, communication, and support as we work together to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I encourage you to reach out with questions, concerns, and celebrations.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your children at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, August 11, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Our first day of school will be Thursday, August 13. Bring your school supplies that night.
