Principal Bio

Matt Besherse has served 14 years in education, eight years were spent as a classroom teacher and six as an assistant principal. Matt served four years as the assistant principal at Crandall High School from 2017-2021. He then became principal at Martin Elementary. His wife, Dona, is a teacher at Dietz Elementary and they have three wonderful children, Madison, Brayden, and Kara who are all educated in CISD.
